Generate QR codes for URLs, text, Wi-Fi, contact info and more.
QR codes have become a fast, reliable way to share a link, contact detail, or piece of information that someone can scan instantly with a phone camera rather than typing it manually. This tool generates QR codes for several common use cases — website URLs, plain text, email addresses, phone numbers, and even Wi-Fi network credentials — with adjustable size and error correction level.
What does error correction level actually do?
Higher error correction lets a QR code still scan correctly even if part of it is damaged, dirty, or obscured — for example, if you plan to place a logo in the middle of the code. The tradeoff is a visually denser pattern.
Can I create a QR code that connects to Wi-Fi automatically?
Yes — the Wi-Fi tab generates a code that, when scanned, prompts the phone to join the specified network directly without the user needing to type the password manually.
Do QR codes expire?
No, a QR code generated this way encodes the data directly and doesn't expire on its own. If it links to a URL, the code itself works indefinitely as long as that URL remains valid.
