How do I check what discount a store is actually giving me?
Use the "Find Discount %" mode — enter the original price and the sale price shown, and it will calculate the exact percentage discount being applied, which is useful for comparing deals that are advertised differently.
Does this account for sales tax?
No — this calculates the discount on the price you enter only. If you need to also add sales tax or VAT afterward, use the Sales Tax Calculator or VAT Calculator on the discounted amount.
Can I stack multiple discounts?
Enter the first discount, take the resulting final price, then run it through the calculator again as the new "original price" with the second discount to see the combined effect.
